Schedule Sending of Campaign Activities

In the Schedule tab of a draft campaign activation in Campaign IQ, configure the schedule for launching your campaign and its tactics - workflows, emails and social posts. You can choose between AI-optimized scheduling or a manual definition that gives you complete control.

  1. Choose the scheduling method - IQ scheduling (AI-powered) or Manual Scheduling - by clicking on the relevant header.
  2. Review the schedule that has been provided. If you’re using Manual Scheduling, make changes as applicable. Guidelines on what you can change are given below. If you’re working with IQ Scheduling, you can click Regenerate to provide a different schedule.

Campaign Start Date & Time - As a default, this is based on the campaign being launched at 09.00 tomorrow. Manual Scheduling - Choose a new date and time from the calendar and date pickers, or click Set to Now + 30 Min to have it launch 30 minutes from now.

    Note

All tactics will be scheduled relative to the campaign start date and time as a default.

    Start dates for each tactic

    • Workflows - A campaign workflow always starts at the campaign start date/time. The individual steps in the workflow execute according to the timing and delays configured in the workflow.
    • Emails and social posts - Manual Scheduling You have two options for scheduling these, which is especially useful if there is more than one in a campaign:
      • A staged sending of all the emails or social posts in the campaign - set the sending of the first one, relative to the campaign launch date, with Start Delay from Campaign Launch. Specify the required number of days between each email/social post going out with Spacing Between Emails.
      • Individual scheduling for each individual email or social post - if you don’t want to follow the staged sending schedule. Click Override to expose the date and time pickers, and set a specific time for sending each email/social post. Click Use Offset if you want to go back to the staged sending date/time.
      • Note: emails in a campaign may be linked to other content items. e.g. a landing page. You won’t be able to schedule the email until it and all its linked content have been personalized.
  3. If you’re working with IQ Scheduling, IQ shows you its confidence in the timings it’s provided. It also gives AI insights explaining why it’s chosen the particular date for each tactic. You can click Regenerate if you want it to provide a different schedule.
  4. Review the scheduling that's currently in place in the Campaign Timeline area.
  5. Any tactics that are scheduled in the past are highlighted in red. Ensure that you fix these issues before launching the campaign or those tactics will not trigger.
  6. If you want to reset the schedule and start again, click Reset to Defaults.
  7. When you’re happy with the campaign schedule, click Apply Schedule to queue the campaign up for launch.

Overview tab

The number of actions taken by recipients, e.g. email opens, form submissions, social clicks, leads generated, asset downloads. What’s shown here depends on the type of tactics included in the campaign.

The campaign’s performance trend, based on the activity numbers, is shown in graph form below the numbers. You can choose what activities to show in the graph by clicking their label under the graph, and what timescale to display - Last 14 Days, Last 12 Weeks, Last 12 Months, or All time.

Hover on a date point in any of the trend lines to get the numbers for that date.

portal_campaign_iq_monitor_dashboard.png

Schedule tab

Each entry shows their date and time, or wait period if the schedule is configured with relative steps, and their current status (Scheduled, In Progress, or Completed).

portal_campaign_iq_monitor_dashboard_schedule.png

Leads tab

A list of leads generated by the campaign, with color coded lead scores. Scores are based on the interaction a contact has had with the campaign and its materials, such as email opens, landing page visits, collateral downloads, etc. For more information, see About Lead Scores. The colors are:

  • Green - 80+
  • Yellow - 50-79
  • Gray - 0-49
