You may receive this error message on an X (formerly Twitter) post that has not been sent: User is over daily status update limit, network Twitter.

Your portal is subject to X (formerly Twitter)'s application- and user-based restrictions on the number of request that can be made via the API. If these are reached, posting is interrupted.

The portal uses this schedule for posting. If you select to auto-schedule your social post, we will attempt to publish according to the schedule below.

Initial Scheduling Buckets

  • 10:00 - 10:30 AM
  • 1:00 - 1:30 PM

If the request fails to post in its selected time bucket, if limits have been reached, we will reschedule for the next available time bucket. We will continue to try to post until we reach a "reset point". Once the "reset point" is reached, we will schedule the post for Saturday.
