Best Practice
To conform with privacy laws and email best practices, we recommend that you only remove contacts from the Suppression List if there is a clear wish or directive for them to start receiving communications again.
Your account administrator can manage the Suppression List for email communications to contacts.
- Navigate to
> Settings.
- Choose Suppression List in the left sidebar.
- Find the email address you want to remove from the list. Note: only addresses that have been manually added to the suppression list can be removed. Email addresses that have been automatically added by hard bounce or contact unsubscribe cannot be manually deleted.
- Click the X next to the address.
- In Confirm Communication Status, confirm how future communications will be managed for the contact:
- Selected Communications - The contact can opt in to communications on a list-by-list basis
- All Communications - The contact is re-subscribed to all lists of which they're a member
- Click Unsuppress Email.
- The address is removed from the list.
