A plugin is a piece of software that acts as an add-on to a web browser and gives the browser additional functionality. Plugins can allow a web browser to display additional content it was not originally designed to display.

Yes, you are required to remove your web plugin. It is the partners' responsibility to remove plugins and other syndicated content. When you no longer have a portal subscription, there is a seven day grace period to remove the content. After that time, the plugin will be blank.

When it is time for the partner to remove a banner or plugin, they can remove the entire page from their site or remove the plugin code. Please review the partner page after removing the code and adjust as desired.

If the content is not removed, the content becomes stale and should a prospect interact with the content and/or submits the form, the partner will not be notified.

For more information plugins, see About Web Plugins.
