Customize your view of custom information
When your supplier provides a form for you to provide custom information, such as case studies, you can customize your view of the list of submissions.
You'll see a Configure Columns button for custom information type in your portal. Click on the button to open a Column Configuration window, where you can drag and drop the columns you want to see in your view, and move them around.
The Configure Columns option is available in two places in the portal:
-
In the Custom Object Listing feature page (the name may be different in your portal, here it is named Case Study)
-
In a deal
Here's an overview, in a Custom Object Listing feature page (named Case Study here):

Retirement of WeChat
It's becoming increasingly difficult for ZiftONE to support the WeChat platform, so WeChat will no longer be supported for social content.
You can no longer link a WeChat account to your portal account in the Social Settings page.
Note: existing WeChat accounts and posts are not affected by this change.
12 Nov - Update to Deals
- General improvements and bug fixes
See Account details when viewing a Deal
When you're viewing a Deal, you can now access the full details of a linked Account. A new View link is available next to the Account name in Deal Details. Click the link to open the Account details.
05 Nov - Custom User Fields and Update to Portal Sessions/Timeouts
- Improved handling of session timeout
- General improvements and bug fixes
Customized User Profile fields
It's now possible for suppliers to request additional information about your users, so that they can maintain a full profile instead of just basic information such as name and email address. For example, they may want to ensure they note the preferred communication language for each user, or have an idea of their working hours.
You may start to see additional fields when you’re creating users in your portal (if you’re an administrator), or updating your own profile.
Your administrator can update this information for all users at any time.
Improved handling of session timeout
We’ve made improvements to the way ZiftONE handles timeout of user sessions. You will now be automatically redirected to the portal login page when your session expires. If the portal is using SSO-based login, you will go back to your SSO login page.

08 Oct - Updates to Social Media
- General improvements and bug fixes
Support for multiple Facebook logins/accounts
In response a change made by Facebook to account support, the way in which you can link multiple Facebook accounts to a Zift login has changed.
When adding a new Facebook page, ZiftONE detects an active Facebook session and will automatically use that in ZiftONE. When you access the Social Settings page in the portal, and use the Add Account > Facebook option to add a new account, there will be no response from the button as there is already a Facebook account connected.
To link a new Facebook account to the ZiftONE account, log out of Facebook then return to ZiftONE to add a new Facebook account.
You no longer have the option to log in to different accounts from the Add Account screen.
Support for GIFs in social posts removed
We have removed support for GIFs (either direct upload or links to giphy.com) in Social Posts. The in-platform support was always limited and has caused some recent issues.
01 Oct - Update to Quizzes
- General improvements and bug fixes
Review answers to a quiz
If your supplier has provided a quiz for you to take after taking a training module, they may give you the opportunity to review your results after completing it. If enabled, you can see which questions you answered correctly and which you got wrong. Note: You won't see the correct answer for those you answered incorrectly.

10 Sep - New Custom Object Listing page, custom information in Deals, and update to Lead/Deal Funnel creation
- General improvements and bug fixes
Introducing Custom Object Listing
Custom Objects are custom pieces of information that your supplier wants you to provide. For example, your supplier might ask you to provide case studies to show how their solution is benefiting your customers, or give you an opportunity to tell them a bit more about yourself with a Partner Q&A.
Key Benefit: Your supplier can provide forms for you to fill in, to guide you through the process of providing the information they need.
Notes:
-
The availability of this feature is dependent on your supplier.
-
Content and page names in your partner portal will vary based on your supplier’s settings.
This is an example of how Custom Objects might be displayed in a partner portal, using the new Custom Object Listing page (named here as Case Study as the supplier is asking for customer case studies):
You can use the Create button to create instances of the information requested by the supplier. All instances created are listed in the page.
Each submission has a link that can be shared - this supports a collaborative view, review and edit of these pieces of information.
For more information about Custom Objects, see About Custom Object Listing.
Custom information requests for Deals
Your supplier might provide custom sections for you to fill in when completing Deals. For example, they might want you to maintain a history of the interactions you’ve had with a customer while prospecting/securing a deal:
Use the Add Item button to create submissions of the custom information, in the same way as you’d add line items to the deal. You can see a list of submissions of the information that have been made when viewing the deal.
Default pull date when creating Lead/Deal funnels
When you create a funnel to pull Lead or Deal information into ZiftONE from a Salesforce integration, as a default the funnel will sync in items that were created after the create date/time of the funnel. If you want to bring in existing data created earlier in Salesforce, change the Pull data created/updated since date when creating the funnel, in the Review step.
For more information about creating Funnels, see How to Set up Lead/Deal Funnels.
27 Aug - New Partner Events page
- General improvements and bug fixes
Partner Events are in-person attendance events that your supplier has provided for you in ZiftONE. For example, you may see a training session to get you onboarded onto your supplier’s partner program, or a webinar to give you an overview of their products. You can get details of an event from your partner portal, register for it if the supplier has provided that option, and attend the specified location (or participate in a virtual event). Your supplier gets an overview of who’s registered and who’s attended.
Users will receive an email confirmation of registration.
An event may be based around one of the courses available in your LMS. Once you’ve attended a training course like this, your supplier can recognize your attendance and completion. You will see the course listed in your Completed Courses area (or equivalent) in the portal.
Notes
- The availability of this feature is dependent on your supplier.
- Content and page names in your partner portal may vary based on your supplier’s settings.
This is an example of how Partner Events might be displayed in a partner portal, using the new Partner Events page:
For more information about Partner Events, see Partner Events.

Introducing Tier Program
Tier Programs provide a clear framework for your growth within your supplier’s ecosystem, and allow you track your ongoing performance against a specified set of goals set by your supplier.
Key Benefit: A supplier can provide a tier system to help them recognize and reward partners, provide a clear path for partner growth, motivate higher performance and improve partner engagement.
Notes
-
The availability of this feature is dependent on your supplier.
-
Content and page names in your partner portal may vary based on your supplier’s settings.
This is an example of how a Tier Program might be displayed in a partner portal, in the new Tier Program page:
For more information about Tier Program, see About Tier Program.
Introducing User Achievements
User Achievements are tangible accomplishments set by your supplier that you can complete to earn points in the partner portal.
These are earned by completing specific criteria within specified timeframes, such as sending an email in Q1 or completing a certification by a certain date.
Some User Achievements are repeatable, meaning you can earn points for completing the Achievement more than once.
Key Benefit: User Achievements offer you guidance on the most valuable areas to focus on.
Notes
-
The availability of this feature is dependent on your supplier.
-
Content and page names in your partner portal may vary based on your supplier’s settings.
This is an example of how User Achievements might be displayed in a partner portal, using the new User Achievements page:

04 Jun - Changes to Deals page, Administrator permissions
- General improvements and bug fixes
Improved filtering of Deals
If your ZiftONE partner portal includes a Deals page, you now have the option of filtering the list using filters based on Deal information or Deal Types. This makes browsing and finding Deals much easier and quicker. You can filter your Deals listing using these options:
- Text search
- Deal Type filter - if your supplier uses multiple Deal Types
- Deal information filters - Total Value, Status, Currency, Stage, and any information fields specific to your supplier
Fields are listed alphabetically for ease of selection.
Admin can't change notification settings for other users
As an Administrator, you can no longer change the opt-in status of your colleagues for notifications. In the Settings > Notifications area, you can now only change your own settings. The other users in your account will have responsibility for their own notification preferences in My Settings > Notifications.
You can still add new non-user Email Recipients.
For information about managing notifications, see About Notifications.

30 Apr - Changes to Lead qualification
- General improvements and bug fixes
Leads can only be qualified when logged in to portal
The option to change the Lead Status of a Lead to Qualified was available when not logged in to the portal, for example when accepting a Lead from an email alert. As this isn’t a valid workflow, it wasn’t possible to complete the step.
Now partner users can only use the Qualified status and create a Deal or Opportunity from a Lead when they're logged in.
23 Apr - New area My Settings
- General improvements and bug fixes
New My Settings area for managing your own portal settings
My Settings provides easy access for non-Admin partner users to manage their profile, social media, virtual event integrations and notification settings from the portal.
Log in to your partner portal and go to Settings > My Settings.
These options are available:
- My Profile - keep your profile up to date and change your password
- Social Media - manage your user-level connections to social media platforms
The social accounts configured here are only available to the current user and are not shared with other partner users.
These settings are also available in the Social Settings feature page.
- Event Integrations (formerly My Integrations) - manage a user-level integration with Zoom for use in Virtual Event Campaigns.
These integrations are only available for the current user and are not shared with other partner users.
Note: WebEx is not available for user-level integrations.
