You can update a lead's current position in the customer journey. Additionally, you can offer feedback to your supplier about a lead.
To change lead stage and information, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Distributed Leads or Registered Leads page.
- Click the name of the lead you want to update. This opens the lead details view.
- Click Update Stage or Lead Feedback.

In Update Lead Stage, you can change the stage to Open, Contacted, Nurture, Unqualified/Invalid, or Qualified. Updating the stage to Unqualified/Invalid or Qualified essentially closes the lead, so leaving feedback is no longer an option.
You may see other fields for completion, depending on your supplier's configuration of the form.
You can't take this action on leads that have been rejected by the supplier, or have expired.
- From Lead Feedback, you can provide additional information about this lead or assign it to a partner user or sales rep under the Assign Lead Owner field. You can't provide feedback for a lead whose status is Unqualified/Invalid or Qualified.

- Click Save or Update.
Notes:
- If you have a CRM integration, you will not have the ability to update the lead stage via the portal. Lead stage updates should be executed within your connected CRM system.
- Not all partner accounts will have the ability to provide Lead Feedback. This is set up by your supplier.
