Overview

The portal automatically sends these notifications to the partner.

Social Media Content Needs Approval

Posts from social streams set up by suppliers to require partner approval have been added to Upcoming Posts. These posts will not post to a social media account until they are approved by the partner.

The frequency is daily, weekly, or monthly, based on the selection in Settings > Notifications. Notifications will only send if new content is awaiting approval.

Social Media Settings Update Required

Note: Regular authentication is a security measure imposed by the various Social Media platforms. Most platforms regularly require authentication of the site. In some cases, authentication is as frequent as every 90 days.

View the scenario below:

A social media account associated with a portal account is about to expire and permission needs to be granted in order to continue using the account through the portal.

For Personal Social Media Accounts, the partner user will receive the email notification each Monday if the account will expire in less than 20 days. For Company Social Media Accounts, all Partner Admins will receive the email notification each Monday if the account will expire in less than 20 days.

The Update Required Notification will continue to be sent via email every 7 days until the account expires. Once the account expires, you will continue to receive notification but it will be that the account has expired as shown below.

Social Media Account Expired

This means either:

  1. The token for a social media account associated with the portal account has expired and is no longer accepted by the social site.
  2. The token for the social site is invalidated from a failed attempt to use it and the user has not re-authenticated the account.

Once the account expires,

  • For Personal Social Media Accounts, the partner user will receive Account Expired Notifications every 7 days until the account is authenticated or removed from the portal subscription.
  • For Company Social Media Accounts, all Partner Admins will receive Account Expired Notifications every 7 days until the account is authenticated or removed from the portal subscription.
